New Normal

This pandemic has truly been challenging to all of us. And for the hostel industry, it meant a a huge change on how we would accept guests/travelers. Gone are the days where we could share a room with a complete stranger and mingling with people outside of our personal bubbles. Maybe someday (soon, we hope?) this could happen again but for now, we must adjust to the new normal.

As per the new DOH guidelines to safeguard the health of our guests and our staff, we will no longer be offering the beds in the dorm rooms individually. What is available now are the entire dorm rooms which shall be booked as private rooms.

BUT! We also have 2 new private rooms for you guys to try!

Elyu finally reopens its doors to tourists and we can’t wait to welcome you back! But of course, safety first. The province of La Union has put in place these requirements and guidelines for the safety of its residents and visitors as well.

Join COAL-FREE LA UNION for surf sessions, a beach cleanup, talks, music, and an exclusive screening of "Before We Disappear," a short film starring Carla Humphries & Alex Medina, narrated by Joel Torre, and directed by Dean Colin Marcial & Gym Lumbera! 

Break Free La Union is part of the 3rd global wave of actions calling leaders around the world to #BreakFreeFromFossilFuels and promote renewable energy! 

This event is co-organized by Coal-Free La Union, Isalbar ti Pintas ti La Union, Manila Surfers Association, Planet CORA, and Greenpeace.
